The Gallippi lab would like to welcome our newest graduate research assistant, Keita Yokoyama. He will be joining the lab in August 2018 to pursue the Ph.D degree in Biomedical Engineering. Keita has completed his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering at the Joint UNC/NCSU Department of Biomedical Engineering in May 2018. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Keita performed independent research at the Gallippi Lab, developing new ARF-based methods for tissue characterization. We are excited for Keita to begin his graduate career at UNC/NCSU and look forward to keep working with him in the lab.
