Gallippi lab members Sabiq and Shureed recently participated in the 50th annual Ultrasonic Imaging and Tissue Characterization Symposium (UITC), held April 20–22, 2026, in Silver Spring, MD. Both lab members gave oral presentations at the symposium.
Sabiq’s talk was titled “Deep-DoPIo Outperforms Conventional DoPIo for Detection of Renal Inflammation and Fibrosis in an In Vivo Porcine Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury Model.”
Shureed’s talk was titled “Combining ARFI Variance of Acceleration and Nakagami parameters for improved automatic segmentation of In Vivo carotid plaque.”
