We would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Tomek Czernuszewicz, our postdoctoral researcher, for his reception of the highly competitive, American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), Small Business Postdoctoral Research Diversity fellowship (http://nsfsbir.asee.org). Dr. Czernuszewicz has also accepted a position at SonoVol, in Research Triangle Park, NC where he will complete his fellowship.
SonoVol was co-founded by UNC Graduate, Dr. Ryan Gessner (Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of North Carolina and North Carolina State University, 2013 – Ph. D.), and UNC professor, Dr. Paul Dayton in 2014. They specialize in high quaility, volumetric ultrasound imaging devices for pre-clinical applications. Dr. Czernuszewicz will be serving as a senior scientist for SonoVol, tasked with developing new software and features for SonoVol’s line of products.
